How to Use TEFA Funds for Our Services

A step-by-step guide on how you can get our services (for free!)

We're an approved vendor on the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) marketplace, which means you can use your child's TEFA funds toward our coaching programs – no separate payment or reimbursement needed!

How It Works

  1. Log in to your Odyssey Parent Portal. This is the same account you used to apply for TEFA and confirm your student's enrollment.

  2. Go to your Wallet, then click "Shop Marketplace." Your available TEFA balance will be shown here.

  3. Search for "REACH Through Education" You can also find us by browsing to the Tutoring category.

  4. Choose the coaching package that fits your student, and review the details before adding it to your cart.

  5. Check out through the marketplace. Your TEFA funds are applied directly at checkout – you won't pay out of pocket or need to request reimbursement.

  6. We'll be in touch within 1–2 business days to confirm your order and schedule your child's first session.

Good to Know:

  • Purchases must go through the Odyssey marketplace. TEFA doesn't allow paying a vendor directly and requesting reimbursement later, so please don't send payment outside the platform.

  • Don't have a TEFA account yet, or not sure if you're enrolled? Visit the official TEFA site to apply or check your status.

  • Questions about our coaching packages or the marketplace process? Contact us – we're happy to walk you through it!

Don't Have TEFA Yet?

Applications for the 2026–27 school year closed March 31, 2026. If you applied during that window but haven't received an account, you're on the state's waitlist – no action needed on your end, and awards continue to be issued as funding becomes available.

If you haven't applied yet, the next window will be for the 2027–28 school year. This was TEFA's first year, with applications opening in early February. Future windows are expected to follow a similar schedule, but the state hasn't confirmed exact dates yet. You can check for updates and apply when it opens at educationfreedom.texas.gov.
