Our Story
At REACH Through Education, we’ve seen how the education system has lost its heart. We've witnessed firsthand how many incredible teachers simply don’t have the resources or time to support every child fully, and while schools have tried implementing Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programs, inadequate training often leaves these efforts falling short.
In 2022, Sharon founded 'Teaching Through Education' to fill these gaps by integrating personalized SEL strategies and focusing on the development of executive functioning skills— areas where traditional education struggles to teach effectively. Her method led to remarkable improvements, not only in students’ grades, but also in their overall self-esteem and engagement with the world.
A chance meeting in 2024 brought Sharon and Lauren together, sparking a partnership built on their shared vision for the future. They decided to join forces and rebrand to 'REACH Through Education', aiming to bring the heart back to education. Together, they focus on the whole child, helping young people find their confidence, voice, and spirit. At Reach Through, we empower students every day to thrive both in school and in life by embodying the learning experience from the inside out.
